Monthly Movie Monday has Changed!

Those of you who have come to my blog today looking for the Redbox Monthly Movie Monday promo code are probably disappointed to see there isn't one. The reason for this, is because Redbox is changing the program so that if you still want to receive the Monthly Movie Monday codes (distributed on the first Monday of each month), you have to sign up to their SMS Network. They are no longer releasing promo codes publicly, all codes are unique, one time use only and are only being sent by text message. Here is the e-mail I received from them last week:

As a loyal redbox customer, we want to make sure you know about an upcoming change to our Monthly Movie Monday program. Beginning Monday, December 7, the Monthly Movie Monday promo code will be distributed exclusively via text message to customers signed up to the redbox SMS Network.

All codes will be unique and can only be redeemed once. If you get your code from a friend, online or in an email, the code may NOT work. The only way to guarantee your code is valid is to join the SMS Network at redbox.com

Rumor has it, Redbox will change their mind and will announce free codes for all only not in obvious places, so keep an eye out for them and I will post any updates when I get them.

Free Redbox Rentals

Rent a movie for free, at a Redbox Kiosk near you. Simply use the following promo code: DLLNS26.* This code can only be used once per debit/credit card, so you can rent more than one by using different cards. For some reason this code has been reported working everywhere, even though it's a Dillion's Grocery chain promo code, I have no idea how long this code will last so go out and use it right now.

These other promo codes have been reported working, as of 11/23:  DLLN26  and  5HY9V24 (HyVee only!)


Don't forget to return the movie by 9 p.m. the next night!

Free Medium Drink at Target - Nov 27 & 28 Only!

Heading out to Target this Black Friday? Print this coupon before you leave and get a medium soda for free, at the Target Cafe. And, if I'm not mistaken, they offer free refills on the same day, so think of it as unlimited sodas all day long(or however long you are shopping)! Remember, this coupon can only be used on November 27th (Black Friday) and 28th (Saturday) of this year (2009).

Military Appreciation Day - Veteran's Day 2009

Tomorrow is Wednesday, November 11 which is Veterans Day. I decided to put together a list of nationwide (check out Military Avenue for local military freebies) freebies to thank all veterans and active military for their bravery & honor.
